We develop Empinia with C# and use mainly Visual Studio. If you download the source, NAnt is required to build Empinia.
We're using a continous integration server. Currently we don't provide nightly builds but single versions of our framework. 

Tools & Paradigms

We rely heavily on test-driven development to produce solid code. NUnit is used for unit testing. We're planning to introduce GUI tests also, but this is still in evaluation phase. 

Of course we use a version-control-system. We opted for Subversion, but for the time being accessing is internal only. We're planning to change that in the next phase.

We look forward to get feedback on the source code of Empinia and whether it works for you. Proposals or patches are best to be sent to the mailing list empinia-dev@empinia.org. Currently there are about a dozen committers that contribute code to the project. Nearly all of them are members of this community.
